Charlie Fass aka Mister Illusion performs at Dixon Public Library

I performed today at the Public Library in Dixon California.  I estimated about 200+ people present ages from 3 years old to adult.  Everyone had fun and everyone went home with with a gift from Mister Illusion.  As I was packing up my car the members of the audience were driving by in their cars, one after another, waving their hands, cheering, and thanking me for the magic show. Makes me feel like I achieved my goal…….which was to entertain everyone.

I generally like to send a thank you note to the person who booked me on the day after I do a show, but this customer beat me to it by sending me this email this afternoon–the same day as the show: “Hi Charlie–Thanks so much for coming today and performing for the children (and parents) of Dixon.  We had our biggest crowd yet (165 people).  I enjoyed it as well.  Sorry for mispronouncing your name during the introduction…I blame it on my two years’ of German in college….,  Steve [Dixon Library Director].  P.S. I’ll ask my wife about possibly doing something for our school in Elk Grove” [she is a member of the PTA there]

Wow. Hey, you know what? ……there’s no business like show business. 🙂
