Mister Illusion aka Charlie Fass to Appear in Old Sacramento in Two Stage Performances

Sacramento’s best New Year’s Eve Tradition will light up the skies above Old Sacramento with bright colors and flashes during the New Year’s Eve Sky Spectacular. Free to all, it will feature activities for the whole family to enjoy–including children’s programing, live music, dinner specials, and two stage performances by Sacramento’s favorite magician Mister Illusion aka Charlie Fass.
SACRAMENTO, Calif.Dec. 27, 2015PRLog — As announced by the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau: “The region’s biggest New Year’s Eve bash returns to the historic waterfront in Old Sacramento as the 16th annual Sky Spectacular lights up the skies on Dec. 31. Produced by the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) and sponsored by the City of Sacramento, the free, family-friendly evening will feature two incredible fireworks shows at 9 p.m. and midnight, as well as games, delicious seasonal food and drinks and live music throughout the evening.” Charlie Fass aka Mister Illusion will be performing two stage performances–one at 7 P.M. and another at 8 P.M.  During his first performance he will be attempting his famous tablecloth stunt.  During his second performance, he will be attempting to levitate an audience member on stage.

“The New Year promises to be incredibly exciting in Sacramento, from the opening of Golden Once Center, to the redevelopment happening across the city,” said SCVB CEO Steve Hammond. “We hope the community joins us to celebrate the great things to come in 2016.”

Also announced: “From 6-9 p.m., attendees of all ages can enjoy pop-hits and fun games and prizes from DJ Mike, Sacramento’s favorite illusionist, Charlie Fass, TWO 3D game trucks, a balloon artist, and treats like hot chocolate from Steamers Café, followed by a sky concert with fireworks set to musical hits from 2015. Following the 9 p.m. show, California’s best new cover band, Thunder Cover will take the stage, with more exciting musical acts to follow. An awe-inspiring fireworks display from multiple locations will serve as the evening’s finale. Hotel specials are also available for those who don’t want to miss a moment of the fun.”

“The New Year’s Eve Sky Spectacular will take place rain or shine. Please note that the Tower Bridge will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic for 30 minutes leading up to and after each of the two firework shows.
